In the back of his parents house was a narrow driveway leading to the garage. It was there that Billy parked his first car that dad bought him for a high school graduation present. A 1969 aqua marine blue Ford Mustang convertible. The first love of his life as it is with most teens that age. He shed a few tears of joy when dad handed the keys to his new car. He hugged and kissed dad at this unexpected gift. During the summer months Billy would soap it down and wash it with the garden hose as it sat in the driveway. A next door neighbor Julie who was a year younger than him noticed the new car from her backyard. It was the color that fascinated her the most. One summer afternoon she walked over to his driveway and introduced herself while he was he washing the car. It was the first time they had met even thought they had been next door neighbors. Ten minutes later Julie was the first guest to sit in the passenger seat as Billy took her for a thirty minute ride. They talked and laughed together as things in common were found out by each other. She became the only other passenger over the next few years as they ended up attending the same college. High school sweethearts were now college sweethearts as during the summer months he would soap it down as she would wash it with the garden hose. Eventually they moved out of the nest which was their parents homes and moved in together at their own apartment. Their were strings tying cans to the rear bumper and shaving cream graffiti on the 1969 Ford Mustang saying "just married". A little while before that the bride and groom looked so happy together at the wedding reception. It wasn't the traditional white that was worn, but instead it both of their favorite colors and memories of aqua marine blue...

I'm doing up my bathroom at the moment and I wasn't sure which to choose - underfloor heating, or bathroom radiators - but this article has a great idea - both! LOL Content Comments
